Kevin Explores
Aerial Landscape Interpretation
See North Queensland's landscapes like never before. From above, patterns emerge that reveal extraordinary stories hidden at ground level.
Aerial Landscape Interpretation
Pilot and aerial landscape photographer with a deep curiosity to better understand our landscapes through the lens of geology, geomorphology, ecosystems, cultural heritage, and historical development.
I research and collaborate with experts when needed to ensure accurate interpretation beyond my own knowledge. This approach combines my deep personal curiosity with professional rigor.
I partner with NRM organisations, conservation groups, and regional/local tourism bodies to access remote locations—they get professional documentation, I get exploration opportunities—while sharing discoveries with the broader community through this platform and social media.
Not every landscape involves all five perspectives. A volcanic cone reveal a purely geological story, while a river system reveals geological controls, active processes, ecosystem patterns, and infrastructure adaptation to terrain.

Partnerships and Collaboration Welcome
I work with NRM organisations, conservation groups, and regional/local tourism bodies on documentation projects. Organisations get professional aerial documentation and interpretation, I get access to remote areas for exploration.
